Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams announced she will not be seeking a US Senate seat in 2020. Abrams, who nearly became Georgia’s first Black female governor, said she has not ruled out a presidential bid.
In a video shared on social media, Abrams said that public service has been a life-long calling for her. “Whether in elected office or as an active citizen, I believe we are required to find solutions to our most intractable problems, and to use our skills to expand opportunity for all,” she said. -->
