Did you know that Gary, Indiana didn’t have any electricity for 2 weeks? And that the local, state, and federal government basically left people stranded, hungry, and desperate? It was a complete disaster. And you won’t find one expert who thinks if Gary, Indiana was a white town instead of a predominantly Black one that things would have gone down like this.
I have a ton of respect for Keith Lee. If you don’t know him, he’s famous for his TikTok food reviews, but he has a huge heart.
Keith did WONDERFUL work here, but that’s Keith. He does good work and always wants to help people.
But it’s INFURIATING that a food review guy that isn’t even from this entire part of the country was the main person who stepped up in place of the government that should have been there from DAY ONE.
They light our tax money on fire by sending it to Israel while the infrastructure in our own country is falling apart. It’s despicable.
