I would love you to answer this question: Why isn't this on the news ANYWHERE?

I remember the outrage when the Taliban destroyed the Buddhas at Bamiyan. So why the silence now? Why is Israel allowed to destroy cultural treasures with impunity?

We've done it. Humanity has necessitated a word more severe than genocide. I'm not sure what it will be, but it will surely be used in the history books when talking about Palestine. Not just a people but the history of the species is being razed.

From what I understand, the proper word is Holocaust, because a Holocaust goes beyond genocide.

All I want to do is use vile language and that's no help at all. I can't write anything reasonable, I am appalled, but not surprised, I am furious, no, that's now a good enough word. It's not even the right word. I am out of words for this outrage. Another pathetic word for what Netanyahu has done and is doing. With America's help. Shame. that word still works. I am ashamed to be an American, almost can't write those words.

Netanyahu is Israel's HITLER. His military kills on his orders. I've begun to understand the seemingly world-wide dislike of Jews, but their silence allows "Bibi" to continue his plan to claim Israel ONLY for Jews. The ICC wants him for his genocidal actions, and they MUST get him!

This description and destruction of Beit Hanoun brought to mind the lines of a poem by Lord Byron, one can just so easily substitute the names and understand the feelings there. May the people of Beit Hanoun return to do the same:

Hush'd are the winds, and still the evening gloom,

Not e'en a zephyr wanders through the grove,

Whilst I return, to view my Margaret's tomb,

And scatter flowers on the dust I love.

Please provide examples that support this statement in your article:

"And throughout the modern era, it remained a corridor of culture, education"

What is the contribution of Beit Hanoun to culture and education?

People all over the world are doing something to try and stop this genocidal juggernaut.

Two Israeli soldiers have been arrested at a music festival in Belgium over war crimes allegations, a campaign group has said.

The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) said in a statement that the two soldiers were attending the Tomorrowland festival in Boom, near Antwerp when they were arrested "with a clear show of force" by Belgian federal police.

After the soldiers were taken into custody, they were formally interrogated and released.

HRF said the Belgian Federal Prosecutor's Office has confirmed that a criminal investigation is now underway.

The complaint was filed last week by HRF and the Global Legal Action Network (GLan).

And there’s more: Dock workers at the Port of Piraeus have refused to unload a ship with military cargo destined to be transferred to a ship bound for Israel.

β€œWe will not unload a single centimetre of this murderous cargo.
The dockworkers of Piraeus will not be complicit”.

We refuse to be tools of the US, Nato, the EU, Israel, or China, who use our country’s infrastructure to reshape the world redrawing borders with the blood of nations of the Palestinian people,”
