Her name was Zainab Ahmed Muhammad Abu Hlaib.
I’m posting this from my phone while I’m traveling so forgive me if it’s wonky or has errors.
Her name was Zainab Ahmed Muhammad Abu Hlaib.
She was only 5 months old — and she was starved to death today by Israel and America under the U.S.-backed siege on Gaza.
She died this morning.
Here is what she used to look like!
And she died from a man-made famine.
She was brought lifeless to Nasser Hospital about an hour ago.
Here is what she looked like today.
The video above is of her from Sunday — just a few days ago.
She was already near death.
But the world did nothing.
She never had a chance.
This is not a natural disaster.
It’s a military strategy.
Gaza’s hospitals just confirmed 9 new deaths from starvation in the past 24 hours alone.
That brings the official total to 122 starvation deaths — including over 80 children.
And we all know the true number is much, much higher.
This is a genocide.
What do you call it when dozens of babies are starved to death in front of the entire world?
What do you call it when the most powerful nations in the world actively block food from reaching a million starving children?
What do you call it when they bomb bakeries, destroy food trucks, shoot at aid workers, and then lie and say they’re trying to help?
You call it what it is. A genocide.
I don’t know how to hold this.
She was only 5 months old. She never said a word. Never took a single step. And now she’s gone.
She died from hunger,in a hospital that could not save her, in a world that looked away.

Zainab deserved a world that fought harder for her.
Help us fight harder — every single day.
