✊🏽 Before you read this…
This story won’t make the headlines.
It won’t be shown on CNN.
No world leader will call her name in Parliament.
But here, we will say it.
We will tell Rahaf’s story, and we will not let her vanish in silence.
This platform — The North Star — is fully independent and funded by the people.

📹 Her name is Rahaf Al-Bawai
She’s a young Palestinian girl in Gaza.
And the video I’m sharing with you today is unbearable.
Rahaf used to weigh 55 pounds.
Now she weighs just 11.
Her limbs are skeletal.
Her skin is paper.
Her eyes are wide, distant, struggling to stay open.
She is wasting away.
And she is about to die!
And still, the world says nothing.
🍼 Starvation is targeting the most vulnerable first
Babies. Children. People with special needs.
They’re dying first — and fastest.
Because they can’t digest scraps.
Because their bodies are already fragile.
Because they rely on formulas, feeding tubes, supplements, and care that no longer exist in Gaza.
Rahaf is one of them.
And if the siege continues, she will not survive.
🍞 The famine isn’t natural. It’s engineered.
Palestinians in Gaza are not starving because food ran out.
They’re starving because food is being blocked.
Israel is enforcing a total blockade.
And the United States is funding it.
Food is sitting just outside Gaza — in trucks, in containers, in convoys — but it’s not being let in.
This is not collapse.
This is policy.
Rahaf is not dying of disease. She is being starved.
📜 This is a war crime. Period.
Article 54 of the Geneva Convention forbids the starvation of civilians as a method of warfare
Article 8 of the Rome Statute defines it as a prosecutable war crime
Collective punishment — especially targeting children — is explicitly banned
But there is no accountability.
Because the enforcers are also the funders.
And the prosecutors who want to hold them accountable have been sanctioned by America.
🩺 This is what dying from hunger looks like
It’s not poetic.
It’s painful.
It’s bones pressing against skin.
It’s delirium.
It’s internal organs failing.
It’s children crying until they don’t have the strength to cry anymore.
That’s what Rahaf is living through right now. She will die soon.
📢 Why you won’t see this on the news
Because if they showed Rahaf,
If they said her name,
If they tracked her weight loss, her suffering, her collapse —
They’d have to admit what’s being done to her.
They’d have to name Israel.
They’d have to name the United States.
And they’d have to name themselves.
So instead, they stay silent.
And we speak louder.
🛡️ Help us keep breaking that silence
