My heart breaks for Leqaa her family and all those touched by this cruel administration and our inability to create a humane immigration system.
Sami Hamdi said what got him free from ice detention in SF and stopped his extradition to Texas was daily updates by his family getting picked up the national media.
That makes sense. The harder we press them the more difficult and consuming it will be to maintain this behavior. If we can organize for not just Leqaa’s case but create a system it could be groundbreaking. But we have to start with getting her free.
Please keep us all informed on how we can find Leqaa Kordia’s path home. This is unacceptable and a reminder of the spread of hateful practices in the genocidal places such as Israel. Palestine needs more than our attention and freedom. We need a massive call to action for involvement from all angles so there is no place for cases like this to be left hidden.
