As-Salaam-Alaikum and good morning to you my friend!
As you may know, I am home recovering from my 5th and most brutal spinal surgery. I will be homebound for months as I recover - and the truth is that I will have to work from home much more for the rest of my life after this surgery. Thank each of you for your prayers and encouragement.
Being home has allowed me to work virtually and lead some brilliant design teams that I manage and today I am SOOOOOOO proud to announce that we are officially launching the HUMAN RIGHTS SCORECARD for the brand new Congress that just got elected! That’s in 58 days on January 3rd, 2027.
It has taken nearly a year to build this platform, the first of its kind ever built, where we will have real-time human rights ratings for every single member of the United States House and Senate.
In essence, we take into account every vote, every bill sponsored, every donation, and every investment and factor those into a score from 1-100 on human rights issues.
For my entire life, politicians have talked a good talk on human rights, but we are finally going to be able to KEEP SCORE and tell you who is who. I am going to tell you now, it’s going to be shocking. We already have our first scores for everybody in the current Congress and my best guess is that most of Congress is going to hate us.
But this is how we hold them accountable - not for what they say, but for what they actually do, for who funds their campaigns, and for what they invest their own money in while in Congress.
We are about 85% finished and we estimate that it’s going to cost us at least $30,000 per month to run and manage the platform. Many of you have already invested to help us get this far and I am so grateful for each of you.
We have brand new options for everyone to donate now. Any amount you can give, in a one time donation, or a monthly one, which would help us a lot, will make a real difference.
Also, tomorrow I am going to be asking for some volunteers to help us if you have some free time, OK?
