While this logic may not apply to every issue, it absolutely applies to Gaza.

I'm glad you see that now. It was covid that brought this to my attention, and Israel is another glaring example.

This fear is real. I was an elected official in a simple suburban NJ township and a smear campaign was launched painting me as an antisemite by powers from surrounding communities. Needless to say, I lost in the primary while serving as Deputy Mayor.

I still speak up but from my job where I have 100% support from the community. They WILL NOT silence me.

It all boils down to having a conscience or not.

I agree. The point we are all learning is that who funds you seems to define your conscience.

Exactly and the bought have basically sold their souls to the devil. Never would have thought in a million years that I would find myself agreeing with Tucker Carlson or MTG, but after 2 years of Genocide the masks have fallen and people who you thought were good actually turned out to be the bad guys all along.

After looking through the AIPAC tracker website, I began to realize that if we narrowed down all of our politicians to those who have not received funding from AIPAC, we’d have about 10 Congress people. That’s a deeply disturbing revelation because the silence about Gaza from prominent politicians speaks volumes in terms of who they actually represent. It sure isn’t us.

I noticed that you did not include AOC and Texas rep Greg Cesar in your article. I’m wondering why?

Activists from 44 countries plan to launch the largest civilian flotilla in history at the end of August in an effort to break Israel’s siege on Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid to the starving population of the enclave.

The Global Sumud Flotilla, along with three allied initiatives, will send dozens of boats from Spanish ports on 31 August and Tunisian ports on 4 September, aiming to establish a humanitarian corridor and confront what organizers call Israel’s genocide against Palestinians.

“Under Chapter 7 of the UN Charter, the Security Council has the power to deploy an armed force and to impose that force even against a country’s will.

The UN General Assembly (UNGA), that will meet in September, is empowered under the Uniting for Peace resolution, to act when the Security Council is unable to act owing to the veto.

“Global civil society will need to be steadfast in its demands for protection and justice, ensuring the glare of public exposure under which states will be forced to vote for or against a force to protect the Palestinians from genocide. The time to act is now.“

Call on Pope Leo XIV to do whatever it takes to save Gaza and stop the bombing, and end the starvation. Let him go to Gaza and stand with the suffering people who are being massacred by Israel and the Western posers. He can go to Gaza right now, and insist aid be allowed in.

Is there anything more important in today's world than this?

Tell Linkedin “No hiring for genocide”

Right now, Linkedin is hosting job postings from Safe Reach Solutions (SRS), the logistics company that is behind the GHF, which is responsible for daily murders of Palestinians seeking aid. This must stop!

It's weird being on the same side as these people. It made me want to reconsider and yet it is a no-brainer. We remain on the same side. Israel is committing genocide with the help of the US. It needs to continue to be said that AIPAC should be a registered foreign agent. AIPAC enjoys complete power over our government and many of our institutions.
