Have you heard the name LaKeith Smith?
When he was just a 15 year old boy, police shot and killed his best friend, but prosecutors then went and charged LaKeith, who they openly admit was unarmed and non-violent, with his murder. It's an abomination. I already hate the felony murder rule, but I have NEVER seen it applied in this outrageous fashion.
LaKeith was then sentenced to nearly 70 years in prison after police shot and killed his friend. I truly don’t have words for the magnitude of this injustice.
