False. Two autopsy reports conclude otherwise. One by the Minneapolis coroner, the second by an independent autopsy completed by a medical examiner hired by the Floyd family. Check their reports and the trial transcripts. Fentanyl was in his system but ruled not the cause of death.

As a nation, we play a game called “Blame the Victim.” We do it with rape victims, children and murder victims. It is always something that the victim did which justifies the actions of the murderer, rapist or other wrongdoer. This behavior can be rooted in racism.

In my area, we just had 5 people murdered by a shooter armed with an assault rifle. Here is a link to that story if you have not seen or heard of it: https://www.wral.com/from-gofundme-to-hashtags-to-murals-how-support-is-pouring-in-for-raleigh-shooting-victims-from-across-the-country/20523972/

I chose that link because it has profiles of most victims. Their was a younger victim who does not appear on the page.

Our country needs to get it together and move away from behavior like this.

Where did that lie come from?

George Floyd died from asphyxiation caused by a police officer choking him.
