You may not remember, but that photo is of the graves of the school children of Minab that the United States, paid for by most of you reading this, slaughtered earlier this year.
I don’t think most journalists would ask you to do this, but before you read what I want to tell you, I need you to read this article by some investigative reporters. I provided a free version for you. I think it’s the most important thing written in a while.
In summary, the details how, on February 28th, the United States basically had AI generate a ton of its military plans and targets in Iran. Then, without any true human vetting, they approved military war plans to bomb the hell out of those targets.
And one of those targets was an elementary school. The United States bombed it. Waited a few minutes then bombed it again. And appears to have waited a few more minutes then bombed it one last time.
DOZENS of the children that were killed were completely EVAPORATED. No bones, no human structure, just guts everywhere. Some were destroyed to nothing but DUST.
And here’s the point I want to make…
I don’t think most Americans even care.
I honestly don’t. This shouldn’t be shocking. Nobody is talking about it. The Bloomberg article I shared above should’ve been viral. All of this should be a massive scandal.
I am not speaking in hyperbole, but it’s literally a war crime to blow up an elementary school. If that shocks you, just imagine the roles being reversed?!?!
I have to say things like this often, but imagine the outrage if Iran bombed an American elementary school and killed most of the students and teachers. It would be one of the single most painful moments in modern American history. We’d know every name, every story. Monuments would be created. And can you imagine, not just what the United States would do to Iran, but the entire world would join in. I don’t even know if Iran would still exist anymore if they did that to an American elementary school.
This isn’t conjecture.
Everybody knows this.
But this very thing happened to Iran, and I think people have almost moved on outside of Iran and maybe their closest allies. Why?
I think we are all now VERY used to death. Constant death. Brutal death. I see kids, mothers, even pregnant mothers in Gaza blown to pieces every day.
I saw a man blown in half yesterday.
Gross, cheap death is everywhere right on my phone right before celebrity gossip and after some sports news.
Trump blows boats full of poor people to pieces constantly - killing hundreds.
Citizens were slaughtered by the United States all over Yemen.
But I also think that Iran has been so demonized, and Shia Muslims are so demonized, and Muslims are so demonized in general, that people are programmed now to just stop caring. Like - even people that speak up for Gaza seem afraid to speak up for the kids of Minab.
It’s very telling for me. After nearly 3 years of a genocide, it’s just now starting to be socially acceptable to advocate for Gaza in the United States, but speaking out for school children in Iran seems to be a bridge too far for some people - even American Muslims.
First, the massacre is just awful and outrageous and we all paid for it. Bottom line.
But do you know what this means? AI is being used to target and kill people in Gaza, in Iran, in Yemen, and who knows where else.
And the AI companies know it.
The governments of the world obviously know it because they are the ones using it.
And nobody is hardly even saying a word. We are just accepting this.
While we are all afraid of the world in which AI is used to kill us, that world is already here. It’s been here. It’s just being used to kill people far away from here, but one day it will be us.

I believe this desensitization began with the skewing of mainstream news coverage of violent crime by over 1000%. Decades ago this statistic dawned on me the realization that we are being indoctrinated to believe in a danger that doesn’t exist in the way it’s been and being portrayed. It’s brainwashing. I grew up without TV and I greatly attribute my ability to see people for who they are as a result of that lack. I’m part of a fractional population that isn’t being told what people look like, how they act and what it should make me feel on a daily basis. That’s why Americans don’t care about Gaza, Iran or even their neighbors when there’s a perceived values schism. Shame on US. We are an abomiNation. It’s othering on a grand scale, when really there is no other, we’re all interconnected. Everyone just wants a safe place to raise their children. This country has been trained to militarize that human instinct through careful culturing of hate and bigotry. Their children or ours is a false dilemma. We’d all be safer if we all were made to be safe. But there’d be no profit in that approach to economy and politics.
