Trump absolutely did not want the world to know this happened. Iran basically destroyed every single major base and presence in the entire region. If the base wasn't destroyed, essential equipment was.

thanks for an interesting piece. it is typical to report only injuries and deaths of u.s. personnel and not iraqui casualties. as if some lives are more valuable than others which are not worth a mention. i hope this will shift.

We are truly cooked. I have suspected something like this since the beginning. This administration has no intention of telling g the truth but satellites dont lie. Thanks for this. Again, we are cooked.

They don’t lie

Very interesting Shaun . I would like to ask the Universe to influence the US to leave the bases, concentrate on its own shores. Withdraw the blockade and sanctions and allow the tankers to flow again. To recognise that the Strait is indeed Iranian and Omani waters and that they have a right to impose a toll.

That would leave Israel and I think I need more fairy dust to deal with them.

A pretty good job of destroying the Rah Rah Yeah US narrative, but hardly the whole story.

Because hidden in the precision destruction of the military usefulness of basically every US military land base in the region is a joker.

Iranian technicians and tacticians took a 1970s American designed war plane, and turned it into a 21st century stealth weapon and proved it worked against the deep protections of a military land base intended to be an outpost.

The joker is that the primitive version of this weapon was proven to work against WARSHIPS in the Falkland War.

Yes, every American warship within range of an F5 equipped with extended range tanks can be hit, and sunk.

And that's a hole card Iran chose to expose, begging the question of what other jokers they have if the US tries to 'buy the pot' because Iran keeps calling the bluffs.

Honest assessment, of a war, that American citizenry doesn't support. I knew, as a combat veteran, that Iran wouldn't tuck tale and run. They are a proud and intelligent people and will not cow tow to Trump. The negotiations will take a lot more than a memorandum of understanding. The Obama administration spent two years on the JCPOA.

trump is doing to the U.S. what satanyahoo is doing to israel, bankrupting it and destroying it social and moral standing

Thank you for sharing

I am surprised that the main stream media has not reported more on the evacuation of American service personnel and their families from those bases in the gulf region. Many had to leave without notice and without all of their belongings. Housing for troops and dependents on and around bases in Europe, especially Germany are now packed full.

It's a double-edged sword. These losses will also mean that safety net programs in the US won't get started or will have their funds cut. So, besides being in a "questionable war," we will not be able to support people in the US who need help. Colonialism must end with its cost in human lives as well as $$$.

Focusing only on u.s personnel while ignoring Iraqi casualties creates the impression that some lives are/is treated more valuable than others. Iraqi civilians & soldiers also have/is suffering immense losses, & pain. Leaving them unmentioned can across come across as dismissive of their humanity and long suffering. A complete & honest account should acknowledge all lives affected by conflict, not just those of one-side.

You keep mentioning Iraqi casualties. What are you talking about?

Mentioning or mention because it’s once and it’s reply to a comment in the comments πŸ˜‚

The war is in Iran. That’s why I asked what you mean by the Iraqi deaths
