I share that feeling of shame in the world, Shaun. It's so profoundly discouraging to see this genocidal carnage playing out in real-time and no action is taken to stop it.
This poor child should not have to hide from tanks and weapons that could end his life on his way to school, no child or human being period should have to live in such a state. I hope the sentiment is shifting, but who knows. My level of optimism that things will improve is very low at the present
