White DJ Accused of Trafficking and Sex Crimes Against Black Girls

Awhite DJ in South Carolina faces allegations that he trafficked hundreds of Black girls and committed sex crimes. Jason Roger Pope was charged with three counts of trafficking in persons, three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, and one count each of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, promoting prostitution of a minor, and kidnapping. The 42-year-old appeared in court on October 14 in a bond hearing, where he withdrew his request for the hearing, Essence reported.
