  1. Love this man. Well deserved – but I feel like he doesn’t need the recognition of the academy to know that his work is cherished far more greatly than most “best picture” films by the people who matter.

  2. Here is some priveledge…I have always known Spike had won an oscar, or two. Truth? As a white woman, I trusted that excellence would be recognized and rewarded. I know better, but this one checked me.
