Thanks to millions of you, we’ve achieved so many of our Action Steps for Ahmaud Arbery, but we can’t let up. Not at all. One man is still on the loose and we have more things worth fighting for. Let me tell you what’s next.
Millions of people across the world helped to achieve the actions steps to bring justice to Ahmaud Arbery, a young man who was murdered by two white supremacists while out jogging.
One and a half million people signed the petition.
Tens of millions of emails were sent to people in power.
Hundreds of thousands of phone calls were made.
Half a million people ran for Ahmaud over the weekend.
After this pressure from millions of people across the world, Gregory and Travis McMichael were arrested months after their heinous crime, but an arrest is not enough. An arrest is not a conviction. While we fight to ensure a conviction is made, William Bryan, accomplice to Ahmaud's murders, remains free.
In today's episode, Shaun gives an update on the many positive changes made in the case and outlines what still needs to be done.
