Oscar and Emmy-winning actress and director Regina King has locked in a "first-look deal" with Netflix to produce films and television series, the streaming service announced. Netflix announced on April 1 that King’s production company, Royal Ties, is entering into a multi-year deal to produce films and series for the streaming platform.
