Rapper Meek Mill's Conviction Overturned

Rapper Meek Mill’s 2008 conviction for drug possession and carrying a firearm was recently overturned and he was granted a new trial by a Pennsylvania appeals court. The Pennsylvania Superior Court ruled that new evidence proved the officer who testified at the previous trial against the rapper, who was born Robert Rihmeek Williams, was not credible.
