The Break Down

Episode 160 – MLK 360 – Special King Day Episode

Full DESCRIPTION:

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is the all-encompassing symbol of nonviolence in the civil rights movement. His story, a sanitized version, is taught to elementary school kids across the country.

Most of us only know the famous “I Have a Dream” speech, and most of us only know a small segment of that.

His thoughts on America, and the steps that must be taken to achieve racial justice, go far beyond the few sentences we were taught. His ideas were far more relevant and radical than most know.

In today’s episode, Shaun plays 5 very special audio clips of Dr. King that you have likely never heard before and breaks down why they are so incredibly important.
