😡 What Ceasefire? Israel has now killed 242 Palestinians, and injured 622 more, since the "ceasefire" began.
Israel has attacked Gaza on 25 of the 31 days of the ceasefire so far. Where I come from, that means there is no ceasefire. Period. It's all a scam. A ruse. A trick.

Here’s the reality, today. A month into the so‑called ceasefire, Palestinians are still being bombed, shot at, starved, and terrorized by drones. That is not peace. That is genocide with better public relations. I refuse to pretend a headline halted a horror it did not stop.
A month into the “truce” — life under bombardment
A full month after the October 11th truce, independent monitors report that Israel has continued lethal operations against civilians under siege conditions. The Geneva‑based Euro‑Med Human Rights Monitor states that Israel persists in the deliberate killing of Palestinian civilians amid a comprehensive blockade, systematic home demolitions, and the obstruction of medical care and humanitarian aid.
“An average of eight Palestinians are killed daily under the ongoing comprehensive blockade… and the deliberate hindrance of humanitarian aid.” — Euro‑Med Human Rights Monitor, statement, November 10th, 2025
Public tracking by Palestinian leaders echoes the same pattern:
“The Israeli army violated the ceasefire agreement in Gaza Strip 282 times since it was introduced, killing 242 Palestinian civilians and injuring 620.” — Mustafa Barghouti, on X, November 10th, 2025
What the “ceasefire” looks like on the ground
Killings despite the truce: In the first month, 242 Palestinians were killed and 622 injured (Palestinian Ministry of Health figures cited by multiple trackers). Attacks occurred on 25 of 31 days — only six days without deaths or injuries (AJLabs, Nov 11th, 2025).
Documented violations: The Gaza Government Media Office recorded 282 violations between Oct 10th–Nov 10th: 124 bombings, 88 shootings at civilians, 52 demolitions, 12 raids beyond the “yellow line,” and 23 detentions (AJLabs).
Rafah still closed: The crossing for evacuating the severely wounded remains blocked, a breach of the deal; many patients are denied treatment.
Aid throttled — starvation policy: Average of ~171 trucks/day since the truce — far short of the 600/day pledged (GMO; UN2720). UN tracking shows 3,451 trucks reached their intended destinations Oct 10–Nov 9; the Gaza office reports 4,453 trucks entered vs an expected 15,600. WFP says only half the required food is arriving; Euro‑Med adds that nearly 70% of mandated aid is blocked, maintaining controlled, chronic hunger.
Demolitions and gunfire: Daily aerial/artillery strikes and gunfire continue with widespread home demolitions, especially east of Khan Younis and Gaza City.
Psychological warfare: Drones broadcast threats and sirens at night, keeping civilians in constant fear.
That’s not a ceasefire. That’s occupation violence rebranded. That’s occupation violence rebranded.
International law in plain words
A ceasefire is not a press release — it’s a commitment to stop hostilities. Even when a ceasefire is framed as a political agreement rather than a binding treaty, international humanitarian law still applies. Parties must protect civilians, refrain from attacks, and allow humanitarian relief. The willful killing of civilians, starvation of civilians as a method of warfare, and collective punishment are war crimes under the Geneva Conventions and the Rome Statuteof the International Criminal Court. A truce that features bombardments, closures, and engineered scarcity is a truce in name only — and it is chargeable.

Numbers are not abstractions; they’re a ledger of crimes. Eight killings a day during a “ceasefire,” a blocked lifeline, and engineered hunger — this is the record the world must act on.
Objection — and the answer
“But there’s a ceasefire.” Then stop killing civilians. Stop demolishing homes. Open Rafah, let the wounded out, and let the agreed‑upon 600 trucks of life‑saving aid in, not a fraction.
“These are isolated incidents.” Two hundred eighty‑two violations in a month is not isolated. It’s a system.
“The media says the war is over.” The media cycle is not the measure of reality. Residents are. And they’re telling us the bombardment, the siege, and the fear never stopped.
What accountability looks like next
Independent investigators must be on the ground to document every breach — with names, units, and coordinates — under standards like the Istanbul Protocol. States that claim to uphold law should open universal‑jurisdiction cases now and pursue arrest warrants for truce violators. The ICC should fold these violations into existing prosecutions. And those of us in the United States, whose tax dollars continue to arm these crimes, must force our leaders to condition, suspend, or end support for any military committing grave breaches under cover of a ceasefire.
Love and appreciate each of you.
Your friend and brother,
Shaun

“Everyone” knew that Israel would do this. They have never stood by an agreement in all the ceasefires and treaties concerning Palestine. Maybe some people thought the Americans would hold them to their word. DT seemed to fold very quickly, but then he doesn’t have enough working brain cells to concentrate on more than one thing at once and it’s Venezuela at present…
If it wasn’t Gaza there would still be the West Bank, the detention centres and prisons, the farms, villages and olive groves to play in.
How many Palestinians will be left? Not enough without boots on the ground and very large sticks.
