🏫 We Just Crossed 500 Donors for Gaza’s School for Young Orphans. Please Join Us!
We’ve raised $58,163. If enough people step forward today, we can push past $60,000 and start moving toward $100,000.
As-Salaam-Alaikum and Good Morning from New Jersey!
My friends, we just crossed a meaningful milestone.
505 people have now donated to help us build a school for orphaned children in Gaza.
Together, we have raised $58,163 toward the full $250,000 goal. That means hundreds of people have already looked at this project and decided that Gaza’s orphaned children deserve more than survival. They deserve a school. They deserve classrooms. They deserve teachers, books, counselling, play, safety, routine, and a real chance to begin again.
I am deeply grateful for every single donor who got us here.

Now I need us to keep going.
We are only $1,837 away from crossing $60,000, and after that, the next major milestone is $100,000. To get there, we need to raise $41,837 more from where we are right now.
And to fully fund the school, we still need $191,837.
That is a big number, but I want to make it feel real and reachable. My best estimate is that we need about 2,000 more donors to help us finish this. If 2,000 more people gave, the average gift needed would be about $96.
Some people can give more than that.
Some can give less.
Some can give $5, some can give $50, some can give $500, some can give $5,000, and I am still praying for the person, family, masjid, business, or foundation that can give $25,000, $100,000, or even cover the whole remaining need.
But the bigger point is this: we do not need everybody in the world to care. We need the right 2,000 people to decide that this school matters enough to act.

This school is being designed for orphaned children in Gaza ages 5–9, serving Grades 1, 2, and 3.
These are children who should be learning how to read, write, count, study Qur’an, ask questions, make friends, and sit safely in a classroom with a teacher who knows their name. Instead, many have spent the past two years surrounded by displacement, hunger, fear, grief, and the loss of family.
A school will not erase everything they have endured, but it can give them something real that they desperately need: structure, safety, learning, play, counselling, routine, and adults who are invested in their future.
That is what we are building.
The proposed school will include 6 fully equipped classrooms with space for approximately 270 children, around 45 students per classroom. It will include 6 washrooms, each with its own separate exterior entrance, an administrative office, a teachers’ room, a dedicated counsellor’s space, solar power support, electrical infrastructure, secure perimeter fencing, and an outdoor artificial grass play area.
This is not symbolic. This is not vague. This is a real plan for a real school for real children who have already lost more than any child should ever be asked to carry.
📚 Help us cross $60,000 today and keep moving toward $100,000
We are now in the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, which Muslims believe are the most blessed days of the year for doing good deeds. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that righteous deeds in these days are especially beloved to Allah.
For Muslims, that means this is a beautiful time to give Zakat and sadaqah.
For those who are not Muslim, but who have a big heart and care about Gaza, children, education, and justice, this is still a powerful moment to stand with us. You do not have to share my faith to share this mercy. You do not have to know every detail of Dhul Hijjah to understand that orphaned children in Gaza deserve a safe place to learn.
This campaign is organized by Human Concern International with Shaun King. It is LaunchGood verified, tax-deductible, and for Muslims it is Zakat eligible.
And I want to say this clearly again: I am a full-time employee of Human Concern International and have been for more than 2 years. I do not receive fees or personal compensation from this fundraiser.
Not a penny.
I do this because these children deserve more than emergency survival. They deserve education, safety, structure, healing, and hope. Our team on the ground in Gaza believes this school can be built, and every milestone we cross strengthens that belief.

I want to speak directly to the people who have not given yet.
The first 505 donors already went first. They proved this campaign has life. They proved that people still care. They proved that the orphans of Gaza are not alone.
Now we need the next wave.
If you can give $5, give $5.
If you can give $50, give $50.
If you can give around the average we need from the next 2,000 donors, give $96 or $100.
If you can give $500, $1,000, or $5,000, please do it today.
And if Allah has placed the capacity in your hands to make a transformational gift, I am asking you directly to step forward now.
We are $1,837 away from $60,000.
We are $41,837 away from $100,000.
And we are roughly 2,000 donors away from making this entire school possible.
🕌 Please give today and help us find the next 2,000 donors
After you give, please forward this to 3 people who care about Gaza, children, education, mercy, and justice. Tell them we crossed 500 donors, we are close to $60,000, and we need the next wave of people to help carry us to $100,000 and beyond.
A school is one of the clearest ways we can say to Gaza’s orphaned children: your future still matters.
Let’s build it.
Love and appreciate each of you.
Your friend and brother,
Shaun

Thank you all so much!
