🏆 We can win bonus money for Gaza’s orphan school today! Please chip in! We are in 4th place...
LaunchGood is giving $5,000 to 1st place, $2,500 to 2nd, and $1,000 to 3rd. Today’s contest ends at 7pm EST.
As-Salaam-Alaikum and good afternoon from a VERY hot day in New Jersey.
My friends, I have an important update.
We have now raised $60,920 from 526 supporters to help build a school for orphaned children in Gaza.
Alhamdulillah.
That means we crossed $60,000, and I am deeply grateful to every single person who helped us get here. But today, because we are in the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, LaunchGood has started a daily fundraising competition that can help us move even faster.
For the next 10 days, LaunchGood is giving bonus prizes to the campaigns that raise the most each day.
1st place gets $5,000.
2nd place gets $2,500.
3rd place gets $1,000.
That bonus money would go directly toward helping us build this school for Gaza’s orphaned children.
And today’s contest ends at 7pm EST.
🏆 Donate now and help us win today’s LaunchGood prize for Gaza’s orphan school
As of the latest update, we are fighting around 4th place. That means we are close enough to compete, but not close enough to relax.
We need a real push before 7pm EST.
And I am going to be honest with you: I plan on fighting for these prizes every single day for the next 10 days, because every bonus dollar gets us closer to the full $250,000 goal and closer to getting construction funds to our team on the ground in Gaza.
This is exactly the kind of opportunity we have to take seriously.
If we win 1st place just one time, that is an extra $5,000 for the school.
If we win 1st place multiple times, that could become $10,000, $15,000, $20,000, or more in bonus funding.
If we place 2nd or 3rd, that still moves us forward.
And when you are trying to build classrooms, washrooms, a counselling space, solar support, and a safe courtyard for orphaned children in Gaza, every prize matters.
⏰ Give before 7pm EST and help us climb the leaderboard
This school is being designed for orphaned children in Gaza ages 5–9, serving Grades 1, 2, and 3. These are children who should be learning how to read, write, count, study Qur’an, ask questions, make friends, play safely, and sit in a classroom with a teacher who knows their name.
Instead, many have spent the past two years surrounded by displacement, hunger, fear, grief, and the loss of family.
A school will not erase all of that pain, but it can give them something real: structure, safety, learning, play, counselling, routine, and adults who are invested in their future.
That is what we are building.
The proposed school will include 6 fully equipped classrooms with space for approximately 270 children, around 45 students per classroom. It will include 6 washrooms, each with its own separate exterior entrance, an administrative office, a teachers’ room, a dedicated counsellor’s space, solar power support, electrical infrastructure, secure perimeter fencing, and an outdoor artificial grass play area.
This is not symbolic.
This is a real school.
For real children.
And today, we have a chance to win extra money to help build it.
🤲🏽 Give your Zakat, sadaqah, or tax-deductible donation now
We are now in the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, which Muslims believe are the most blessed days of the year for doing good deeds. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that righteous deeds in these days are especially beloved to Allah.
For Muslims, this is a beautiful time to give.
For those who are not Muslim, but who have a big heart and care about Gaza, children, education, and justice, this is still a powerful moment to stand with us.
You do not have to share my faith to share this mercy.
You do not have to know every detail of Dhul Hijjah to understand that orphaned children in Gaza deserve a safe place to learn.
And today, your donation does two things at once. It helps build the school, and it helps us compete for extra prize money that can push the whole project forward.
📚 Donate now and help us win up to $5,000 extra today
This project is organized by Human Concern International.
It is LaunchGood verified.
It is tax-deductible.
For Muslims, it is Zakat eligible.
And I want to say this clearly again: I am a full-time employee of Human Concern International and have been for more than 2 years. I do not receive fees or personal compensation from this fundraiser.
Not a penny.
I am fighting for this because Gaza’s orphaned children deserve more than emergency survival. They deserve education, structure, protection, healing, and hope. Our team on the ground believes this school can be built, and every day we move this campaign forward strengthens that belief.
Today, I need us to fight for the leaderboard.
I need us to climb into the top 3.
And if enough people move before 7pm EST, I believe we can compete for 1st.
Give $5 if that is what you can give.
Give $50 if you can.
Give $100, $500, $1,000, or $5,000 if Allah has placed that capacity in your hands.
And if you are the person, family, masjid, business, or foundation that can give $25,000, $100,000, or cover a major portion of this project, I am asking you directly to step forward during these blessed days.
🇵🇸 Donate before 7pm EST and help us win for Gaza’s orphans
After you give, please forward this email to 3 people immediately. Tell them LaunchGood is running a daily Dhul Hijjah contest, that our school campaign is fighting for prize money, and that today’s round ends at 7pm EST.
We are not just trying to raise money.
We are trying to win every possible dollar for these children.
Let’s fight for this.
Love and appreciate each of you.
Your friend and brother,
Shaun
