🩸🎥 (VIDEO) This video shattered me. After 700 days of a genocide, I can't imagine this pain.
Two parents in Gaza hold their slain daughter in their arms. Their grief, captured outside a hospital, embodies the cruelty of a siege where survival itself becomes a miracle destroyed in an instant.
Family, the mainstream press will never show you this. They are all complicit. This video must be seen because it is the truth of genocide that the world is trying to bury.

The Unbearable Scene
On a bench outside a Gaza hospital, under the heavy weight of night, a mother and father cradle the body of their little girl. She has just been killed by an American bomb dropped by Israel’s military. Her body is limp. Their faces are shattered with grief.
It’s the cries of her mother that I can barely stand to hear. They are loaded with immense pain.
This family had survived nearly 700 days of annihilation. That is almost two years of daily miracles — rationing food, fleeing bombings, finding water, clinging to life in a strip of land smaller than Detroit or Philadelphia. Tens of thousands of bombs fell on them, day and night, for nearly two years. And yet they held on.
That is what makes this moment so devastating: after nearly 700 days of impossible survival, they still lost her. The pain is multiplied exponentially — because every family in Gaza knows that surviving this long should have meant something, should have given their children a chance. But survival itself has been turned into a cruel false hope.
The Cruel Math of Genocide
Every death in Gaza is not just one death. It is the death of a miracle. Families don’t simply lose a loved one — they lose the entire journey of survival that brought them this far.
This is the cruel math of genocide. It strips life not only from the body, but from the miracle of endurance that carried it through the darkest days. To bury a child in Gaza today is to bury not only her life, but also two years of hunger, thirst, pain, displacement, and hope that somehow she might make it.
Gaza as a Prison Under Fire
Gaza is a cage under bombardment. Two million people trapped. No exit. No refuge. No safety. Every street is targeted. Every school is bombed. Every hospital is struck.
For nearly two years, Israel has waged a war of annihilation, with American weapons funding and fueling every step. This is not “security.” It is not “self-defense.” It is the methodical destruction of an entire people.
A Video as Testimony
The video I am embedded here is not easy to watch. It should not be easy to watch. But it is necessary. It was filmed by Palestinian journalist, Mahmoud Bassam.
You will see what Western media refuses to show you: a father and mother holding their baby’s lifeless body outside a hospital at night, sobbing in devastation. This is testimony of genocide.
Israel says it does not target civilians. But this child was a civilian. Her parents were civilians. They are the living proof that Israel is committing war crimes — crimes carried out with our money, our bombs, our complicity.
Violations of Law, Humanity, and Conscience
This atrocity is a violation of international law. The Geneva Conventions forbid indiscriminate bombing of civilians. Under U.S. law, the Leahy Law prohibits military aid to forces committing gross human rights abuses. Yet both laws are broken daily.
Biden defended this genocide for a year. Trump now continues the same. Two presidents. Same bombs. Same deaths. Same complicity.
The Exponential Grief of Gaza
The parents in this video are not simply mourning one death. They are mourning the collapse of hope. To make it nearly 700 days into this genocide and still lose your daughter — it is grief compounded beyond measure.
Their tears represent the truth that every Gazan knows: survival is never enough. Even the strongest, even the luckiest, can be taken in an instant.
Family, this video will never be shown on CNN. It will never run on the front page of The New York Times. It will never be carried by Reuters. They are all complicit. That’s why this work matters. That’s why your support matters. Please stand with me so we can keep breaking the silence.
