Sisters and brothers - after you read this, I am dying to know what you are thinking about it all. This woman just sacrificed her biggest supporter to stand up for Gaza, against Israel, and for the victims of Epstein.

My intuition, as a woman, is that MTG sincerely feels protecting men (or women) in the Epstein files is despicable. Also, funding Israel at the expense of our own citizens is criminal. And I do feel that these two issues are deeply intertwined.

So, I do agree with your article. And I think those in the MAGA cult that turn against Trump for any reason will be applauded by those on the Left!

Funding Israel's genocide is criminal PERIOD

Yup. And yet both parties of our great country have been doing it for decades. What's happening in Palestine now is the last stage of an incremental genocide that began in 1948. The marriage of Israel and the US is truly diabolical.

Well written, Shaun.

I never thought MTG would be a voice of courage in a party of cowards. It gives me great hope that maybe Trump supporters (except for hardcore MAGA) are waking up to realize Trump is a narcissistic grifter who couldn't care less about them, and nothing more.

Most importantly, a speedy recovery for your mother-in-law.

Like you, I've thought of MTG as politically off base. But since getting disillusioned with the dems in general, I've come to regard her with more respect, and not only on Gaza. Just want to point out one omission in your piece -- when you listed the parties to the "strange alliance" against the genocide, you forgot to mention the many Jews who are aghast at what is happening. And many of them speak out. Let us welcome and appreciate them.

She is courageous for just the fact that she has come out against thd genocide. I’m with you Shaun, willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and wish her the best in her brave fight against TACO and cronies.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, hasn’t “changed”—she merely sees the writing on the wall—that Trump is going to die soon. She’s still a grifter at heart, a racist, an opportunist. But I guess, accept your Frenemies where you can find them, in this kind of world.

I’ve been watching her in interviews a lot. I’ve also been reading some of the stuff she posts—and the crazy is still there. I know people CAN change, Shaun. I’ve witnessed it. I’ve written about it. I hope you’re right. Just watch your back with this one. 🧡⚖️

If she can have the courage to break from Trump, and put herself at risk, we can match her courage

Thanks for your insights on this. Alot has been said about Marge since she started her very public pivot. We can't forget her longstanding racism and entitlement. She has used language equating her persecution in this moment with the suffering of the Epstein child rape victims, and that is pure white lady privilege and a carry-on of maga self-victimization. So yes its so great to see. Anyone can be rehabilitated and change themselves for the better. Also don't trust that b****!

»Politics in America has been poisoned by a sick idea: that if someone is your “enemy,” nothing they ever do is good, and if someone is your “hero,” nothing they ever do is bad.«

Yes. It’s not just the US. And it’s by design. One of the few silver linings of the madness we have been through is that watching who stands where slowly releases many people from this idea’s poisonous spell.

»And in that second group, strange alliances are forming — Muslims, Christians, leftists, conservatives, Black folks, white folks, people who never thought they’d stand in the same room, now finding themselves shoulder to shoulder because they cannot stomach what is being done to Palestinians in their name.

That matters more than we know.«

Yes. And may this room ever grow bigger.

As you can easily guess, my political trajectory has been very different to yours.

»Courage is contagious. So is cowardice. We are watching both play out in real time.«

Mikhail Bulgakov could have been right with his claim that cowardice is the worst of all vices.

»My mother-in-law is in the ICU right now after a terrifying scare with blood clots.«

I surely hope she is fine. And I don’t believe this recent increase in blood clot scares to be a natural thing.

»This is the most important thing I’ve written this month.«

I do agree, and I am happy this thing has been written

Thank you, Sean. You are so right! It's refreshing to hear another human talk about humans as the complex creatures we are. Obvious to you and me, no one is ALL bad or ALL good. I too applaud MTG, and can't believe I'm doing it! I'm definitely rethinking my opinion of her.

I applaud MTG for calling out the genocide, which is something I didn't previously believe was plausible, nor did I think she would push this hard for the files to be released. I have to give her credit for these two stances, even if I am not sure about her true intentions and did not previously agree with her on basically anything.

These dark times are bringing together strange alliances though as you said Shaun. Hoping for a swift recovery from your mother in law iA, glad she is stable.

Is there another way to join? I wish a quick recovery to your mother in law. May Allah make it easy for her and your family.

The women mention in surat Yusuf are our representation of the political corruption class. In these days, they're the Epstein class. And among them, there's one that always has good in them that God uses to stop the corruption. It's shocking that it's MTG in our case, but the people in the time of Yusuf also thought the same when the same woman who put Yusuf in prison, was the one to free him and repent.

The truth, indomitable and unimpeachable, stands on its own.

AIPAC/Israel is, first and foremost, a clear and immediate threat to the safety of the world.

It is not a lie that men have agreed to buttress.

It is indeed the essence of our existence.

It is why the Matriarch is returning to her rightful place in the universe. Veritas.
