The poor judgement and choices of our government is placing unnecessary burden on our service members. It’s that simple.
I work in customer service and that doesn’t give my boss or customers the right to put me into “service” scenarios that are poorly designed and place me in unnecessary danger.
Just because danger is part of the job, doesn’t give anyone the right to send them into a made up war for no good reason. This is repeated history and it’s foolish to do it again and again. I’m not going to sit back and say “well that’s the job they chose” while there’s still opportunity to NOT send them to certain death. Because there will be death. And what exactly is the reason? And can I trust the people making the plan? The answers to those questions I already know. The reason is redundant. And no we cannot trust the people making the plan.
Hard disagree. That’s just how I feel about my service members and troops. We don’t pay them enough and we don’t take care of them when they come. We can’t ask them to do this.
