🌙 Tonight, choose your lane: feed a family or care for an orphan

Two Gaza projects. Two links. One sacred night. Please act now.

Tonight may be Laylatul Qadr (pronounced “LIE-lah-tool KAH-dr”)—the Night of Power. The Qur’an describes it as “better than a thousand months” (Qur’an 97:3). In plain English for everyone: Muslims believe this is one of the most sacred nights of the year—where giving and mercy carry extraordinary spiritual weight.

So I’m going to make this email simple.

I’m not asking you to read a long essay tonight.

I’m asking you for five minutes of courage.

Because Gaza needs more than our prayers. Gaza needs our help.

Here are the two ways to help right now—please choose one (or both):

If you’re not Muslim, here’s the simple way to understand what I mean by “sacred night”: people across the world are trying to align their hearts with mercy tonight. That’s all. It’s a night where generosity is supposed to become real.

And if you are Muslim, you already know: we’re told to race toward good deeds. Not for ego. Not for applause. But because the door is open and the need is crushing.

So here’s the “lane” question:

• Or do you want to be part of carrying a child for the long road?

A few things I always keep crystal clear:

• Donations are tax-deductible where applicable (you’ll receive a receipt through the platform/charity).

• This giving is Zakat-eligible / Zakat-verified.

• And I do not receive a percentage or a single penny from either campaign—I take $0.

If you want a quick “how much” guide, here’s how I think about it:

For meals, give what you can tonight—$10, $25, $50, $100, $250, $1,000. The point is that families can break the fast with dignity.

For orphans, sponsor if you can—because an orphan doesn’t need a one-night miracle. An orphan needs stability, consistency, and someone who won’t forget them.
