đ Tonight, choose your lane: feed a family or care for an orphan
Two Gaza projects. Two links. One sacred night. Please act now.
Tonight may be Laylatul Qadr (pronounced âLIE-lah-tool KAH-drâ)âthe Night of Power. The Qurâan describes it as âbetter than a thousand monthsâ (Qurâan 97:3). In plain English for everyone: Muslims believe this is one of the most sacred nights of the yearâwhere giving and mercy carry extraordinary spiritual weight.
So Iâm going to make this email simple.
Iâm not asking you to read a long essay tonight.
Iâm asking you for five minutes of courage.
Because Gaza needs more than our prayers. Gaza needs our help.
Here are the two ways to help right nowâplease choose one (or both):
Option A: Fund warm Iftar meals for families in Gaza (immediate impact tonight)
support the people of Gaza this Ramadan
Option B: Sponsor a newly orphaned child in Gaza (long-term stability for a child)
support orphans with Shaun
If youâre not Muslim, hereâs the simple way to understand what I mean by âsacred nightâ: people across the world are trying to align their hearts with mercy tonight. Thatâs all. Itâs a night where generosity is supposed to become real.
And if you are Muslim, you already know: weâre told to race toward good deeds. Not for ego. Not for applause. But because the door is open and the need is crushing.
So hereâs the âlaneâ question:
Do you want to be part of feeding families tonight?
Or do you want to be part of carrying a child for the long road?
Meals: support the people of Gaza this Ramadan
Orphans: support orphans with Shaun
A few things I always keep crystal clear:
Donations are tax-deductible where applicable (youâll receive a receipt through the platform/charity).
This giving is Zakat-eligible / Zakat-verified.
And I do not receive a percentage or a single penny from either campaignâI take $0.
If you want a quick âhow muchâ guide, hereâs how I think about it:
For meals, give what you can tonightâ$10, $25, $50, $100, $250, $1,000. The point is that families can break the fast with dignity.
For orphans, sponsor if you canâbecause an orphan doesnât need a one-night miracle. An orphan needs stability, consistency, and someone who wonât forget them.
Meals link again: support the people of Gaza this Ramadan
Orphans link again: support orphans with Shaun
Now hereâs my ask that multiplies everything:
After you donate, please text or forward this to 3 people and say, âTonight may be Laylatul Qadr. Please pick oneâmeals or orphansâand do it tonight.â
Thatâs how we turn one personâs mercy into a wave.
Family, thank you for staying in this with me.
Now pleaseâtake five minutes and choose your lane.
Love and appreciate each of you.
Your friend and brother,
Shaun
