š² This is my second-to-last fundraising post of Ramadanāplease help me close it right
Families still need meals. Orphans still need sponsors. Two links inside.
Ramadan is in its final stretch, and I need to tell you something clearly up front.
Iām going to send only two final fundraising requests before Ramadan ends. Then Iām going to take a few weeks off of fundraising so I can focus on my journalismāand on a special project Iām building for Gaza that I canāt wait to share with you later.
But before I pause, I need us to finish this month the right way.
First, the gratitude.
To every single person who donated, shared, forwarded, and stood with Gaza this Ramadan: thank you. I mean that with my whole heart.
Hereās where we are right now:
Our Iftar meals campaign has raised $325,285 with 3,724 supporters. Alhamdulillah.

Our orphan sponsorship campaign has 1,451 donors so far. Alhamdulillah.

Now hereās the honest truth: we still have much more to do.
The needs in Gaza donāt end when Ramadan ends. Hunger doesnāt stop. Orphans donāt stop being orphans. Families donāt stop needing food, stability, and dignity.
So if youāve been watching this month unfold and you havenāt stepped in yet, Iām asking youābefore Ramadan closesāto do one act of mercy for Gaza.
Tonight, Iām giving you two clear ways to help. Choose one (or both) and move now:
Option A: Fund warm Iftar meals for families in Gaza (immediate impact)
support the people of Gaza this Ramadan
Option B: Sponsor a newly orphaned child in Gaza (long-term stability for a child)

For my Muslim family: these final days are when we try to close Ramadan with our hearts in the right placeāmercy that moves, not just mercy we feel.
For my non-Muslim family: Ramadan is a season where millions of people practice hunger to remember the hungryāand then try to turn compassion into action. Whether or not you share the faith, the principle is universal: when people are suffering, we show up.
If youāre stuck, hereās the simplest way to decide:
Meals = āfeed a family tonight.ā
Orphans = ācare for a child long-term.ā
Meals again: support the people of Gaza this Ramadan
Orphans again: support orphans with Shaun
A few things I always keep crystal clear:
Donations are tax-deductible where applicable (youāll receive a receipt through the platform/charity).
This giving is Zakat-eligible / Zakat-verified. (For non-Muslims: Zakat is a required form of charity in Islam, and āeligibleā means it qualifies.)
And I want to be absolutely clear: I do not receive a percentage or a single penny from either campaign. I take $0.
Family, campaigns like this donāt move because of one magical donor. They move because thousands of ordinary people decide to do one good thing and then bring someone with them.
So Iām going to ask you for two actions:
Please donate (meals or orphansāyour choice).
Then forward this post to three people and tell them, āBefore Ramadan ends, pick one and do it.ā

Orphans link: support orphans with Shaun
Thank you again for what youāve already done. Truly.
Now Iām asking you to help me close this month with strengthāso Gaza can feel it.
Love and appreciate each of you.
Your friend and brother,
Shaun
