As the Derek Chauvin trial continues, we're learning just how powerful, and just how dangerous, police have truly become across the country,
I’m not following the Derek Chauvin trial.
Like so many Black people, I just cannot bring myself to hear every detail of George Floyd’s brutal murder. I cannot watch Chauvin’s defense team lie over and over again, attempting to blame George Floyd for his own death.
I cannot invest any hope in the United States justice system…
