The one article (other than mine) you MUST read today. It's from the leading scholar on the Holocaust and Genocide in The NY Times.
This is a brand new feature that I will be sharing daily - where I highlight articles that I think are the single most important of the day.
Good evening from Brooklyn,
I hope you are doing well. I had yet another MRI on my cervical spine (my neck) today and a painful nerve test called an EMG (where they poked needles in all of my nerves and measured how well they are working) as I prepare for yet another spinal surgery in the weeks ahead.
While there, I read this article and I really want you to read it.
Today I am beginning a new feature here where I suggest the single most important articles of the day for you to consider, read, grow, and learn from.
I have found the actual staff writers of the New York Times to be generally horrible on all things related to Gaza, Israel, Palestinians, Zionists and Zionism, ethnic cleansing, and genocide. If it’s about oppression, they are generally bad. It’s a paper by elites for elites. They are great writers with very, very bad politics (remember they wrote an article begging their readers NOT to vote for Zohran Mamdani? I refuse to link to that one!
Well, today’s article wasn’t written by them, but by one of the most respected and influential scholars on genocide and The Holocaust in the world.
He’s Jewish.
He was raised in Israel.
He was raised by Zionists.
He fought in the IDF.
And he says, without a shadow of a doubt, that what Israel (and America) are doing to Palestinians in Gaza IS GENOCIDE.
And, of course it is.
But it’s a BIG SHIFT for this to be printed front and center, in a major feature, in the New York Times.
Enough from me. Go read the article.
Love and appreciate each of you.
Your friend and brother,
Shaun

Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge of genocide in Gaza as well as in the United States and many other places! We must say “Never Again” and actually do whatever is necessary to stop and prevent future attacks on others!
