"The Lord is counting on me to stand on the side of Israel," says Ugandan judge for the International Court of Justice, as she declares herself a Christian Zionist.
A lone ICJ judge lets ideology and plagiarism override law — and the world is watching.

I had trouble writing this. To think that someone with so much power, at such an important, could be so ridiculous, is hard to see.
Justice Julia Sebutinde of Uganda, a sitting judge at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), sparked global outrage earlier this year for her handling of of the genocide Gaza on the International Criminal Court —and now for statements that should alarm anyone who believes in impartial justice.
At Watoto Church in Uganda, in a meeting for elders, the 71 year old Sebutinde just proclaimed:
“The Lord is counting on me to stand on the side of Israel. The whole world was against Israel, including my country.”
She also said:
“I have a very strong conviction that we are in the End Times. The signs are being shown in the Middle East… I am humbled that God has allowed me to be part of the last days.”
Yeah. Really.
The self-described Christian Zionist literally believes her mission in life is to protect Israel from any accountability for their war crimes. It’s preposterous.
These remarks came after Sebutinde was the SOLE dissenting judge on a 17-member ICJ panel that back in January directed Israel to take urgent measures to prevent and punish direct incitement of genocide in Gaza. Her dissent alone rejected all six provisional measures, placing ideology above law. In essence, in her decision, not only did she say it wasn’t a genocide, but she declared that Israel isn’t doing anything wrong at all - as in nothing.
And now we know she believes the Lord told her to do that.
Did the Lord also tell you to plagiarize?
Plagiarism and Questionable Sources
The scandal deepens with verified allegations of plagiarism. Sebutinde reportedly copied sentences almost verbatim from multiple Zionist sources in her decisions, including Douglas Feith, the pro-Israel Jewish Virtual Library, and a 2016 research paper by Abraham Bell and Eugene Kontorovich. I don’t know if she Googled these horrific sources or was sent them by Israel, but the whole thing is outrageous.
Legal experts warn this combination of plagiarism and use of advocacy material undermines both her credibility and the court’s reputation. Juliette McIntyre, law lecturer, said:
“Normally, judges leave the facts up to the parties and decide which version is more convincing. Sebutinde’s use of advocacy material in a dissenting opinion is troubling when the reliability of those sources is questionable.”
Michael Becker, former ICJ legal officer, added:
“These plagiarism allegations are likely to raise broader concerns about judgment and professionalism… At a time when the ICJ is more in the public eye than ever before, the court can ill afford to have its competence or evenhandedness called into question.”
The Impact: Ideology Over Law
Sebutinde’s actions strike at the heart of international justice. She has combined religious ideology, professional misconduct, and public defiance of her government, creating an unprecedented situation:
Declaring divine guidance in ruling on acts of genocide.
Copying from advocacy sources without attribution.
Publicly disparaging Uganda for opposing her ruling.
Why the World Must Care
The credibility of the ICJ is at risk. Justice for Gaza victims is compromised, and a dangerous precedent is set when ideology trumps law. Every international court decision now faces scrutiny, and the world will question whether justice can ever be impartial under these circumstances.
Justice Julia Sebutinde has crossed every line: religiously motivated judgments, plagiarism from pro-Israel sources, and defiance of her government. The ICJ must act decisively to protect its credibility.

🤯 Wow. Twitter suspended its own AI Bot, Grok, for calling it a genocide, then erased its memory and deleted its tweets explaining what happened.

This made my blood boil. It's just so outrageous.
That’s not international law then is it. How can she be in any position of power with that irrational lunatic white supremacist settler mentality.
