🚨 The Largest Kidnapping in West Bank History. 2,000 Palestinian Boys and Men Were Just Taken Hostage by Israel
If even one Israeli had been kidnapped, it would be global breaking news. But Palestinians? Silence.
Family, what happened in Tulkarm yesterday is so outrageous, so cruel, it shakes me to my core. Israel literally kidnapped nearly 2,000 Palestinian boys, men, and elders in a single day. You won’t see the names or faces of those stolen lives plastered across front pages, because Palestinian lives are treated as disposable in Western media.
That’s why this work matters. To tell the truth without fear, without paywalls, without compromise. I need you with me. Please become a monthly, annual, or founding member today.
The Horror in Tulkarm
Starting yesterday afternoon and going all through the night, Israel carried out the largest mass kidnapping ever recorded in the history of the West Bank in the Palestinian town of Tulkarm. Nearly 2,000 Palestinian boys and men — from little kids to elders — were ripped from their homes, their cars, their offices, their restaurants, their mosques.
Dozens of videos show the same chilling pattern: fathers dragged from their living rooms, shopkeepers pulled into the street, boys marched with their hands behind their heads. It wasn’t random. It was systematic.
The Ghost Town of Tulkarm
The aftermath is apocalyptic. Cars sit abandoned in the middle of streets, doors still hanging open. Restaurants glow with lights on, food half-eaten, but not a soul inside. Offices and shops are unlocked, deserted. Homes stand wide open.
Family, it looks as if life itself was raptured away. When you abduct nearly 2,000 men and boys in a single sweep, what’s left is not a city — it’s a graveyard of absence.
The Double Standard
Here is the part that makes me furious: if even one Israeli had been kidnapped yesterday, the world would have stopped.
We’d know their name and their face.
Politicians would release statements within minutes.
There would be prayer vigils, hashtags, emergency meetings at the UN.
Entire news cycles would be devoted to it.
But in Tulkarm, 2,000 Palestinian men and boys were taken. We don’t see their names. There are no vigils. Leaders stay silent. Because they are Palestinian, the world pretends it does not matter.
This is the cruelty on top of cruelty — not just the kidnapping, but the silence that follows.
A Crime Under International Law
Under the Geneva Conventions, mass arbitrary detention is a war crime. Collective punishment is explicitly forbidden. Israel does not care. It acts as though it is immune from international law — and to this point, it has been.
For decades, Palestinians have been arrested without charge, held indefinitely under “administrative detention.” Today, over 10,000 Palestinians sit in Israeli jails - the majority of which have not even been charged with a crime. Yesterday’s abduction from Tulkarm only adds to this.
This is not security. This is ethnic domination through imprisonment.
America’s Role
Never forget, Family: the United States bankrolls this. The weapons, the uniforms, the jeeps, the bulldozers — all of it subsidized by your tax dollars. Every abduction in Tulkarm carries a Made-in-America stamp.
We cannot tell ourselves we are bystanders. We are financiers. Our money makes this possible. Our silence makes it sustainable.
Faith and Humanity
In Islam, the Prophet ﷺ taught that to free captives is among the greatest of deeds. He forbade the humiliation of prisoners. Even in the darkest battles, compassion was commanded.
What happened in Tulkarm is the opposite of faith, the opposite of humanity. No scripture, no conscience, no law could justify the sight of nearly 2,000 boys and men marched off like this.
Why We Must Refuse Silence
Family, imagine waking up tomorrow and every man and boy in your neighborhood is gone — your father, your brothers, your sons, your neighbors. Imagine your city hollowed out overnight, businesses abandoned, homes left wide open.
That is Tulkarm today. And yet the world yawns.
We cannot normalize this. We cannot scroll past it. We must be the witnesses, the truth-tellers, the voices that refuse to let this horror pass unnoticed.
This story will not be told truthfully on CNN or Fox News. It will not trend on social media. But here, together, we can tell the truth and refuse silence.
If you believe these stories must be told, I need you with me. Please become a monthly, annual, or founding member today.
Love and appreciate each of you.
Your friend and brother,
