⚙️ Secret Recordings of Israeli Weapons Manufacturers Bragging On How They Test Their Products on Palestinians
Leaked conference audio shows them boasting that genocide is “validating” their products—and turning mass death into profit
A leaked audio recording from an Israeli military technology conference includes something so grotesque it should stop your heart. Executives from Israel’s weapons industry speak about Gaza like it’s a showroom—like mass death is a product demo. They brag that the last over two years of genocide in Gaza has “validated” their weapons and expanded their business.
Before I walk you through what they said and why it matters, I need to ask you from the heart to become a member today. I keep this work free for the world—for readers in Gaza, for students in public schools, for families in deep poverty, for elders on fixed incomes—because a smaller circle of people who can afford it chooses to carry some of the cost. Now listen to what these men are admitting in their own words.
This reporting comes from The Ditch, published in partnership with Drop Site News, based on leaked conference audio from a Tel Aviv military technology gathering earlier this month. And what they describe is not subtle. It is not even carefully worded. It is a kind of corporate bragging that treats Palestinian life like a line item.
At the conference, an IDF major general—also the director general of Israel’s Ministry of Defense—boasts that Israel’s systems aren’t just ideas or prototypes. He calls them “combat-proven.” He says, “These are not lab projects or PowerPoint concepts. They are combat-proven systems.” That phrase—combat-proven—is doing a lot of moral laundering. It means: we tested them on real human beings. It means: we have a battlefield full of bodies to prove our products work.
Then the weapons executives take it further. Boaz Levy, the head of Israel Aerospace Industries, talks about export like it’s the whole purpose. He says 80% of their activity is export, and he explains that what they’ve “learned” during this war impacts their future business. He says IAI has $27 billion of new orders and around $7 billion in sales every year. And then he delivers the line that should be headline news everywhere:
“The war that we faced in the last two years enables most of our products to become valid. Starting with Gaza and moving on to Iran and to Yemen…”
Read that again: “Starting with Gaza and moving on…” That is not a humanitarian talking point. That is a weapons executive describing Gaza as a launchpad—a proving ground—and then naming the next theaters of expansion like they’re new markets.
The Ditch report says an Elbit Systems executive also spoke at the conference and referred to “combat-proven technologies” that allow the IDF to strike even when, as he put it, “the targets are less than a pixel.” Less than a pixel. That is a sentence meant to make investors feel impressed. But what it really means is that they are selling the dream of killing with such precision and distance that the target becomes not a person, not a child, not a family—just a dot.
And once human beings become dots, the moral restraints disappear. That’s the whole point of this industry: turn killing into engineering, turn bodies into pixels, turn genocide into “innovation.”
This is why I keep saying that what we’re watching is not only genocide and not only colonialism—though it is absolutely both. It is also a multi-billion-dollar money grab. It is a network of corporations and contractors and exporters who look at extreme human suffering and see market share.
And if you’re Muslim, you already know there is no barakah in this. Allah forbids consuming wealth unjustly. There is no “defense tech” halo that makes ظلم profitable and clean. If you’re not Muslim, you still understand the human truth: profiting from mass civilian death is moral rot.
The Ditch report notes something else that matters: these executives acknowledge boycotts threaten their businesses. One Rafael executive says, “I think Israel is experiencing a boycott,” referencing being shut down at the Paris Air Show. That’s the tell. Even as they posture as untouchable, even as they brag about Gaza validating their weapons, they are afraid of a simple idea: accountability. Not just legal accountability—economic accountability, reputational accountability, the kind that makes contracts harder to sign.
So when people ask, “Why does the genocide keep going?” understand the answer is not only political. There is an industry that benefits from it. There are balance sheets that rise with every escalation. There are sales teams that translate ruins into brochures.
And this is the part that should haunt everyone: if executives feel comfortable saying these things at a conference, then this is not an accidental byproduct of war. It is how they see the world. It is the business model.
They are telling you, plainly, that Gaza has been turned into a showroom. They are telling you, plainly, that this has elevated Israel’s “global identity” as a “defence tech nation.” They are telling you, plainly, that the last over two years of genocide have made their products “valid.”
Family, that is a confession.
And once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

Not combat...there was no other army involved, just civilians and resistance fighters. They make me sick.
