Can anyone attempt to explain why this doesn't even matter a little bit to most American Christians?

I look forward to seeing all 20M vote their conscience and replace Israeli apologists with those genuinely concerned for all human rights.

And you will certainly be labeled an antisemite, as I have been .and worse, much worse! Just because as a Jew , I criticize the Israeli genocide of Palestinians!

I consider Israel a terrorist state! And that is not antisemitism.

There's Christian Zianists and Christians. Mistaking Christian Zianists for the other Christians is like mistaking alQeda Muslims for the other Muslims.

Unfortunately both minority cults are mistaken for the majority by the collusion of them and their enemies to grant them more power.

I see that you see what I see, the need for committed missionaries to go preach the true gospel to these so-called followers of Christ, who fail to follow in his footsteps. They are either brainwashed sheep who have been led astray, or outright lying grifters. The first are among those who can be rescued, or as they say 'saved' because the truth is supposed to set you free.

If there is any value to being religions, then shouldn't there be as many willing to do that, right in the USA, as there are those who travel across oceans and continents to preach to folks on the other side of the world?

Along with the 24/7, online, non-stop vigil to grieve, mourn, celebrate, and read all the names of those killed, orphaned, and wounded in Gaza, this is what I want to see in the coming year.

If we can't stop the bombs, then we can honor the dead and wounded, and do all we can to change hearts and minds.

Matthew 5:11 "Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."

The American "Christian" Nationalists are no more Christian than the settlers. Fascists are fascists; the label is irrelevant, it's what the label covers that counts.

Unfortunately, you seem to have the impression that the "priest" is the right kind of Christian. Protestants have a history of discriminating against "Papal" Christians, and vice versa, history preceded by several hundreds of years of warfare between Catholics and Protestants. That was actually a major factor for religious freedom being included in our Constitution. A position which many of today's Protestants very much disagree with.

That being said, I'm sure that there are plenty of people, that consider themselves to be "good" Christians, who are more than ready to support Israel's human rights violations as long as they are against the wrong kind of Christians or Islamists.
