🍞🌽🥫 PLEASE Purchase Warm Iftar Meals for Gaza for Ramadan — 509 of you have stepped up. We need 15,000, OK?
We’ve raised $47,998 so far toward our first goal of $100,000 — and every single meal matters right now.
Family — Ramadan is about to arrive. And in Gaza, people are still living through a genocidal famine that has now been ongoing for over two years. Mothers and fathers are trying to figure out how to break their fast when there is barely anything left to break it with.
If you are in a major hurry, I’m asking you to purchase warm iftar meals for Gaza by clicking here. I do not, and will never, get a percentage of anything you give. 100% of your donation is tax deductible, Zakat eligible, and 100% of it will go directly to this project.
As of right now, we’ve raised $47,998 toward our first goal of $100,000 goal from 509 supporters. That’s real momentum — and I’m grateful. But I’m also being honest with you: to meet the need in front of us, we are going to need thousands more people to step in.
Just this weekend alone, 186 of you donated $19,670 to help provide warm meals in Gaza this Ramadan. That’s not small. That’s not symbolic. That’s food in hands.
My goal by the end of Ramadan is to raise and spend $1.5 million for meals — and my best estimate is that it will take 15,000 of us to make that happen.
Over the past two years, you’ve helped me provide over $5 million in meals to families in Gaza. In 2023, I thought this would all be over in a few weeks. Instead, Palestinians are now about to enter their third straight Ramadan under war, displacement, and hunger. It’s evil. And it’s unacceptable.
What our sisters and brothers in Gaza deserve is peace, safety, and true freedom. That’s what I want. That’s what I’m working toward. But until then, we must keep them fed.
As many of you know, I now work full-time with Human Concern International, one of the oldest Islamic charities in North America. I trust them with my whole heart.
My supervisor is Palestinian — from Gaza.
Our field director is Palestinian — from Gaza.
They are family to me now.
And the work is brutally difficult. We’ve lost staff members there, like so many others have. But I’m telling you plainly: we will provide these meals. With your donations, we will purchase the food, cook it, and serve it every single day during Ramadan as families in Gaza break their fast.
And I need you to hear this: while most of us will be fasting voluntarily, they will be fasting involuntarily. For many families, this warm meal is the first and only meal they will eat that day.
So please — don’t scroll past this.

And if you can’t donate today, I’m asking you to do something just as important: share this link. Text it to three people. Forward it to your group chat. Post it anywhere you have influence. That’s how we get from 509 supporters to the thousands we need.
Again, here’s the link: please click here and purchase meals for Gaza.
Love and appreciate each of you.

Thank you all so much! We literally cannot do this without you. Thank you for letting me push to do good on here AND write articles about the injustice in the world. I have to do both to just stay sane.
Thank you for sharing this need. Though I've known about Ramadan, I had no idea what it meant in terms of daily needs. This is the basis of Christianity - to care for the poor, hungry, vulnerable, the children, widows, and orphans (of which there are so many in Gaza). But, we can't help if we don't know. So, thank you, again, for providing this opportunity to give.
