I need us to understand the scale of what is happening. In just one month, the death toll in Lebanon has now crossed a staggering 2,000 people. More than 1.5 million men, women, and children have been pushed from their homes. That is not a side story. That is not a footnote. That is one of the fastest ethnic cleansing campaigns in modern history unfolding in plain sight.

And Israel does not even seriously deny what it is doing.

The world is, understandably, focused on the genocide in Gaza and the danger of a massive regional war involving Iran. I understand that. We all do. But while the cameras and headlines are pulled elsewhere, Lebanon is being emptied in real time. Families are running for their lives. Neighborhoods are being destroyed. People who already lived through one wave of displacement are being forced to flee all over again.

Yes, Lebanon needs awareness.

But awareness is not enough.

Families cannot sleep on awareness.
Children cannot take awareness when they need medicine.
Parents cannot feed their families with awareness.
The displaced cannot drink awareness when they need water.

They need support.
