Let's Be Honest. American Soldiers Aren't Dying for America. They Are Dying for Israel and Israel Alone. And We All Know It.
I don't even think you should ever call this "The Iranian Conflict" or "The Iranian War" as it see it being called. This is "The Israeli Conflict" or "The Israeli War" as far as I'm concerned.
A few minutes ago I saw the announcement that US Army Sergeant Benjamin Pennington, of my home state of Kentucky, was killed this past week. And I am not here to speak ill of this man. I don’t know him. I am not even clear on what he was doing when he was killed - at what seems to be a military base in Saudi Arabia, so I won’t begin to speculate. I’m not even here for that.
I am here to make a painful point. Sgt. Benjamin Pennington did not die defending the United States. Not one credible person has ever said that Iran was even a remote threat to the United States of America. Trump claimed to obliterate their nuclear program last year. Iran had no missiles capable of coming even remotely close to the United States and had never attacked the United States. I don’t think a single Iranian ever has, to be honest.
This man died for Israel.
Bottom line. Period. You know it. I know it. The whole world knows it.
And Iran did not attack Israel.
Israel attacked Iran.
Killed their leader, his wife, several of his kids, and grand kids.
Then blew up an elementary school full of children.
Killed an entire women’s volleyball team.
And killed 1,000 other Iranians before Iran did a single thing.
In essence, what Israel did to Iran was worse than October 7th.
And that was before Iran did a single thing.
And now the poor people who fight in America’s wars are dying for it. Rich families like that of Donald Trump and Jared Kushner don’t send their kids to war. Trump literally lied to get out of war when he was a young man.
So they send poor kids to fight completely optional battles and wars that could and should have been completely avoided.
I am not even comfortable calling this “The Iranian War” or “The Iranian Conflict.”
This is “The Israeli War” or “The Israeli Conflict.”
Iran had zero intentions on attacking the United States. This was a war of choice and it’s costing American taxpayers over $1 billion per day. It’s costing the lives of young American soldiers. It’s harming the world economy. It has destroyed the environment. And the United States has committed atrocious war crimes in front of the world.
