Joe Rogan Uses the N-Word, the Sky Is Blue, And Other Facts I Thought We Already Knew

The famed podcast host has come under fire after a video revealed him using the racial slur on 20 different occasions - but honestly, I'm unsurprised.

This may come as a shock to some of you, but I have never in my life listened to even a minute of the misinformation hub that is Joe Rogan’s podcast The Joe Rogan Experience (cue the gasps).

On the real though, if you’re reading this article, chances are you haven’t either. Even though I’ve tried my hardest to protect my mental health from the assault that is his show, it is still the most popular podcast in the United States. So despite my best efforts, I regularly come into contact with headlines on his most controversial episodes, as well as news stories on the controversial man himself.

Based on the news reports, his guest list full of neo-Nazis and white supremacists, and the less than progressive beliefs of the few people I know who do tune in - I already assumed the n-word was a regular part of Rogan’s vocabulary.

It’s like an f’d up superpower any Black person who has spent enough time around white people has. A few key giveaways are how quickly they bring up rap music in conversation with me, how immediate and frequent their use of AAVE is, and of course, their overall vibes.

White people who regularly use the n-word have a very specific vibe, almost like a scent that marks them, warning me to stay away.
