🕌 I’m in the masjid tonight—and I’m praying for you by name
Your giving matters tonight. Please help feed families or sponsor an orphan in Gaza.
As-Salaam-Alaikum my sisters and brothers,
As you read this, I am in my local masjid.
And I want you to know something personal: tonight, I’m going to be praying for you—for every donor, every supporter, every person who has shared, forwarded, and carried this work with me.
For my non-Muslim family: during the final 10 nights of Ramadan, many Muslims spend extra time in the mosque in a practice called i‘tikāf—staying in the masjid to pray, reflect, and seek closeness to Allah. It’s a way of stripping life down to what matters most.
That’s what I’m doing tonight. I plan to spend the night here, as is often the custom in these final nights.
And while I’m here, I’m thinking about Gaza—about families who need food at Iftar, and about children who have lost parents and need someone to step in and carry them.
So I’m asking you, as I head into prayer: please choose one act of mercy tonight (or both).
Option A: Fund warm Iftar meals for families in Gaza (immediate impact tonight)
support the people of Gaza this Ramadan
Option B: Sponsor a newly orphaned child in Gaza (long-term stability for a child)
support orphans with Shaun
A few things I always keep crystal clear:
Donations are tax-deductible where applicable (you’ll receive a receipt through the platform/charity).
This giving is Zakat-eligible / Zakat-verified.
And I do not receive a percentage or a single penny from either campaign—I take $0.
If you’ve already given tonight, thank you. If you haven’t yet, please don’t overthink it. Pick one lane and move:
Meals link again: support the people of Gaza this Ramadan
Orphans link again: support orphans with Shaun
And if you can’t give, please forward this email to three people who can. That is also mercy.
I’m going to carry you all in my du’a tonight. Thank you for helping us carry Gaza.
Love and appreciate each of you.
Your friend and brother,
Shaun

Please pray for me. Through an American sponsor I give every month to a family in Gaza. I would be grateful.
If you could say a short prayer for them and for me For us all. Blessings.
May ﷲ SWT accept all our prayers, InshaAllah!
