You do great work, Shaun. I believe you are being drawn to act for a reason. You are guided by divine wisdom and you are powerful because you are the humanitarian first. Our journalists are needed more than ever right now but so are our humanitarians. What you are doing now will pave the path for every Ramadan to come. It will give space for others who need to worship and heal right now. And in a way you are still keeping your promise because you are divinely guided. It’s not simple because there are people that will not allow for simple right now, as you said. But it seems right to me.
I’m grateful for all I’ve learned from you and I look forward to seeing how we can all help more. That’s the beauty of how you operate. You are a better writer because of the work you do. It educates the masses.

I wish you were able to spend it as you wished but I am equally grateful that you have chosen to make this your path during Ramadan. We need voices from all sides to wake the world. It does not matter your Church or your God the one thing we are thought all of us is the difference in right and wrong, good vs. evil and most importantly Love vs Hate. I know from my life experience that the Bible and the Quran (hope I spelled that correctly) teach the same lessons in this. Where these hateful, violent groups who yell and scream and say that murder is in the name of God they do not speak of the God I know or the wonderful loving Allah my friends know. They are not the protected Jewish race I was taught about in my Sunday school classes. They can only be from the evil one we were warned of. Bless you and may your truths speak louder than their lies.
