I first found you Instagram I can't remember how probably because of your advocacy against police brutality. I've been following ever since! I often wonder how you're still here just because of the sheer weight of your work. But I'm so glad you are. Thank you for shining a light on issues not many others do. Is not Allah sufficient for His Slave [Prophet Muhammad]? And [yet], they threaten you with those [they worship] other than Him. And whoever Allah leaves astray - for him there is no guide. (36) And whoever Allah guides - for him there is no misleader. Is not Allah Exalted in Might and Owner of Vengeance? (37)

Reading these verses, and hearing them in Arabic as they were revealed, and repeating them and reminding ourselves, is a source of peace and strength.
The mushrikeen (idolaters) were trying to scare Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu alaihe wa salam) with their idols. Allah then revealed the above verses and asked the question:
أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِكَافٍ عَبۡدَهُ
Is not Allah sufficient for His Slave
We apply this to all of our souls and lives during these times, to remember, indeed, that Allah is sufficient for all of us.
May you always have peace, and may we all have a blessed Ramadan, which begins next week. We also invite all of humanity to Islam and to read the Qur'an.
