They’ve been paid off. This is ridiculous at this point, to say the least. Anyone in their right mind knows it’s been time to defund the State of Israel.
1. The restoration and repair of Black nuclear families and the structural and communal benefit of them in an era of the erasure of Black Men and the capture of and exploitation of Black Women.
2. The restoration and repair of our civic engagement. Independence/sovereignty/self-determination. Putting an end to the political exploitation without proportionate returns.
3. The reestablishment of our economic independence and/or collaborations in the evolving global economy. Including the elimination of Black wealth extraction.
4. The shedding of western epistemology from our cultural behavior and thought processes.
5. Addressing our housing and food instability.
6. Addressing our poor health outcomes - in terms of access/equity/efficacy in healthcare.
7. Redefining educational literacy in the age of AI. PreK-16.
8. Addressing Black family paternal/maternal/infant mortality.
9. Addressing the persistent attacks on our families whether it be these so-called ‘suicidal lynchings’, fabricated criminalizations or the outright assault/murders we still experience when the cameras and protests are off/over.
10. Reclaiming our global narrative in preparation to resist the falsity of project 2025 and its impositions.
I think grassroots, community organizing from the bottom up is our best strategy, but we need to couple that with strategic electoral politics, placing energy and resources behind strong candidates that aren't afraid to speak out against Israel. Leaders like Mayor Zohran Mamdani or Democratic candidate for Senate in Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed. As candidates like these prove that they can win while being critics of both the US and Israel's atrocities, it places pressure on democrats like the 33 on this list to change course, or at the very least shows them that their seats are no longer safe, no matter how much AIPAC funds them.
While I'm relieved that my Rep isn't on the list, I think it would be useful to place the state abbreviations next to all the names on the list to help build opposition against them, especially if any are currently trying to protect their seats.
The search for justice never ends! The Hind Rajab Foundation is tracking down Israeli criminals, and bringing them to justic. This is vital in the effort to hold Israel accountable. May they also turn their sights on the criminal leaders of the countries of the west who are co-perpetrators of these crimes.
My Rep., Josh Riley (NY) votes policy supporting Israel a lot. He says he wont take corp monies but he takes Aipac. A poster politician showing us how it all works. He has stated there needs to be monies set aside and a legislative bill that will bring injured Palestine children to the US for medical treatment. Wow, may be he shouldnt support the genocide. Crazy.
