I have no idea how anyone at all can justify sending any weapons or any military funding to Israel at all. I have no idea how anyone can justify genocide or any ONE death of any innocent civilian. One death is too many. And you don't need a quota to know it's genocide. Over 100,000 is slaughter. This is almost double the size of my state's largest city of Burlington where Bernie was Mayor. We have to stop sending those weapons right now. When we allows this to happen to one group we allow it to happen to anyone.

Thank you Jennifer. That this is so obvious to me and you and not to so many others is what stumps me.

One more solid piece of evidence to add to the insurmountable proof of Genocide list. This would be a major reason for Israel still not allowing in more bulldozers, excavators, international media, academics, healthcare professionals. Also, for them blowing up the area they are controlling. They’re probably trying to decimate the bodies to hide all the evidence of the actual number of people they massacred. No matter what they cannot be allowed to get away with this.

One can only hope the German government doesn't take steps against these academics, and the publisher for publishing this.

Thank you for reporting this.

More important than ever! The work that the Hind Rajab Foundation is doing will continue to be vital in tracking down and bringing the culprits to justice. This is an ongoing project and worthy of support. Let’s hope they may soon turn their sights on the corporate and governmental accomplices in the west.

I mean no offense, but I think the esteemed Institute estimate is too low. Take a) the massive tonnage of bombs dropped; b) the population density of postage-stamped sized Gaza; c) the precarious health conditions of Gaza, resulting from Israel’s total blockade of food, clean water, electricity, medicines, anything and everything necessary for sustaining life; d) Israel’s near total destruction of Gaza’s housing stock, hospitals, sewage treatment and sanitation facilities β€” the situation is beyond dire, and the death total exceeds 100,000. I think the total is more in the neighborhood of 600,000..

What I want to see is the actual work of the analysts at the Defense Intelligence Agency, not management’s spin. Give us the good stuff, not hogwash and horse manure. The DIA has provided casualty estimates for decades. Permit them to make their findings public. That their estimates are not already public speaks volumes.

All the investigations, numbers, professional opinions have closed in around the rogue behavior of Israel and its supporters. They are defying the terms of the ceasefire - no big surprise. I hoped the U.N. would move more aggressively to stop the genocide and get food and aid in Gaza. What does their foot-dragging mean? Israel continues to drop bombs in multiple countries at will. It won't stop unless they are made to stop.

The Lancet has also been citing a much higher number for at least a year.

It has been so frustrating that it seems the media got to the 65,000 early this year, and despite seeing what is going on, somehow it has only risen to 67,000 since March or so?

Numbers are often calculated on direct β€˜kills’ by the IOF for want of a better term. The numerous people who die due to lack of medical care or now from starvation, for eg, won’t be included. It doesn’t suit the Zionist agenda to have people accurately report the scale of the genocide.

How anyone can justify what Israel is doing is beyond me. That our governments are still supporting Israel is so crazy, and show how deep the Zionist infiltration into every part of politics and the media is.

I'd love to support your work with money, not just hurrahs, but I'm 81 and my retirement income is being seriously tapped out. Any chance of a senior discount?

I long ago figured that there are two places that almost never tell the DOJ and the IDF. Along with a couple of Extreme Court justices who decide based on "alternative facts."

There were bound to be people killed and unrecorded or even noticed in the chaos.. there will certainly be bones recovered but not necessarily identities as where would the dna come from to check against them? Real extinction
