🌙 Final days of Ramadan: don’t let this month end without feeding Gaza or caring for an orphan, OK?
Two projects. Two links. One last stretch to show up with mercy.
As-Salaam-Alaikum and good afternoon to each of you!
Ramadan is in its final days.
And I need to say something plainly to anyone who has been meaning to donate, but kept thinking, “I’ll do it later.”
Later is now.
Because for many people, the end of Ramadan also ends the most intense season of giving—the month where we practice disciplined empathy and then turn that empathy into action. So I’m asking you: please don’t let this month end without doing one act of mercy for Gaza.
Today, I’m giving you two clear ways to help. Choose one (or both) and move now:
Option A: Fund warm Iftar meals for families in Gaza (immediate impact)
support the people of Gaza this Ramadan
Option B: Sponsor a newly orphaned child in Gaza (long-term stability for a child)

For my Muslim family: Ramadan is the month where we choose hunger so we remember the hungry, and where we race toward good deeds.
For my non-Muslim family: Ramadan is a month built around disciplined empathy—choosing restraint so you can show up for people who don’t get to choose their suffering.
Gaza needs both kinds of help right now.
Meals matter because families have to break the fast every night.
Orphan sponsorship matters because a child who lost parents needs stability for the long road.
So if you’re stuck, here’s the simplest way to decide:
Meals = “feed a family tonight.”
Orphans = “carry a child long-term.”
Meals again: support the people of Gaza this Ramadan
Orphans again: support orphans with Shaun
Where we are right now
On the Iftar meals campaign, we’re now at $316,167 raised with 3,647 supporters.
support the people of Gaza this Ramadan
On the orphan sponsorship campaign, we’re now at 1,451 donors so far.
I’m grateful for every donor. But I need you to understand: even as we make progress, Gaza’s needs remain crushing. Families need food. Orphans need care. And we’re trying to meet this moment with consistency—not just a one-day surge.
The receipts everyone deserves to know
Donations are tax-deductible where applicable (you’ll receive a receipt through the platform/charity).
This giving is Zakat-eligible / Zakat-verified. (For non-Muslims: Zakat is a required form of charity in Islam, and “eligible” means it qualifies.)
And I want to be crystal clear: I do not receive a percentage or a single penny from either campaign. I take $0.
My request before Ramadan ends
Please don’t let this month close without doing one concrete thing for Gaza.
Give for meals: support the people of Gaza this Ramadan
Sponsor an orphan: support orphans with Shaun
And if you already donated—thank you. Now multiply it:
Forward this post to three people and say: “Before Ramadan ends, please pick one—meals or orphans—and donate today.”

Orphans link again: support orphans with Shaun
Love and appreciate each of you.
Your friend and brother,
Shaun

If I had a dollar to spare I would. I will donate when able. What’s happening to the people in Gaza breaks my heart. 😢
