🚨BREAKING: 2 genocidal Israeli war criminals arrested in Belgium under new law created for this exact moment
They were found at a music festival. But this started with a girl named Hind and the powerful foundation created in her name. And they are not going to stop here.
✊🏽 Before you read this…
We now have 1,835 paid members at The North Star — people helping us do what no mainstream outlet is willing to do:
Tell the truth, name the killers, and track the crimes.
We are closing in on our first big goal of 2,000 members — and every new member helps us report louder, farther, and with more protection.
This work matters.
And today, something real has happened.
🇧🇪 BREAKING: Belgian police have arrested two Israeli war crimes suspects
At the Tomorrowland Festival in Boom, Belgium, federal authorities just did what no other European country has had the courage to do:
They arrested two Israeli soldiers,
Interrogated them formally,
And opened a criminal investigation under international law for war crimes committed in Gaza.
This happened because of a legal complaint filed by the Hind Rajab Foundation and the Global Legal Action Network (GLAN) — and it may be one of the most significant legal steps taken to date in the global pursuit of accountability.
🧕🏽 Who was Hind Rajab?
Hind was a little girl in Gaza — 6 years old.
She was trapped in a car with her family after Israeli tanks surrounded them.
She was on the phone with emergency responders for hours, crying for help.
She begged for someone to come.
They promised they would.
But instead of rescue, the Israeli military shelled her location and killed her — along with everyone else in the vehicle.
The paramedics who tried to reach her?
They were killed too.
Hind’s name should’ve broken the world’s heart.
Instead, the world moved on.
But the Hind Rajab Foundation — named in her honor — was formed to make sure justice never forgets.
And today, they helped deliver the first crack in the wall of impunity.
🧭 What this arrest means
This is not the end — but it’s a beginning.
For the first time in Europe:
Israeli soldiers credibly accused of war crimes in Gaza
Have been arrested, questioned, and entered into formal legal proceedings
Belgium has recognized its authority under universal jurisdiction — a principle in international law that says war crimes and crimes against humanity can be prosecuted anywhere, no matter where they happened.
💬 My personal vow
I want to say something plainly.
I hope to dedicate the rest of my life to tracking down every single monster responsible for this genocide.
I don’t care how long it takes.
I don’t care what borders they hide behind.
I don’t care how many governments try to protect them.
We are going to name them, find them, and hold them accountable — in this life, or the next. Inshallah.
Because Hind deserves that.
The people of Gaza deserve that.
And justice demands it.
🧱 The wall of impunity is beginning to crack
They thought they could bomb children with no consequences.
They thought the cameras would move on.
They thought the West would never hold them accountable.
But this week, Belgium said otherwise.
And we say otherwise.
And we are not going to stop.
🛡️ Help us keep this work alive
This story is not getting covered like it should.
And that’s why we built The North Star — to make sure the silence is never the last word.
Every single member helps us go further.
Louder.
Stronger.

Good news on a day and in a time where good news is scarce.
We always knew it was highly likely they would be released. But a new precedent has just been set. By a European country that is simply applying its laws.
