There are now at least 111 confirmed starvation deaths in Gaza — just this week.

And every one of them was preventable.
Every one of them was a child, a parent, a grandparent — a human being — who died not because food ran out, but because it was blocked, withheld, and weaponized.

And I need you to see this boy.

He can’t be more than 4 years old.
He stares straight into the camera — hollow-eyed, ribs visible, arms like twigs.
He weighs maybe 20 pounds.
And unless something miraculous happens, he will die.

I hate showing you these images.
But I’ve learned that if I don’t, they disappear.
They’re erased by the same forces that starve these children to death and then pretend it’s complicated.

It’s not complicated.
It’s genocide.

This child is not starving.
He is being starved.

There’s a difference.

There are mountains of food sitting outside Gaza.
There are trucks lined up.
There are ships waiting to unload.
There are hundreds of tons of baby formula, rice, flour, and medicine — all of it blocked by Israel and rubber-stamped by the United States.

The forced starvation of Gaza is not a policy failure.
It is the policy.

In the past 72 hours, we’ve seen:

• Children dying from protein and calcium deficiency

• Infants dead from lack of formula

• Women collapsing from organ failure

• Elderly men found dead in the streets, clutching their stomachs

• Parents forced to decide which of their kids to feed

And this is just what we know.
The real number of starvation deaths is certainly higher.
Entire families have disappeared from hospitals and aid rosters.
We are watching children die on our phones in real time — and the world is doing nothing.

Let me be clear: this is illegal.

Under international law, what is happening in Gaza violates:

• Article 54 of Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions, which prohibits starvation of civilians as a method of warfare

• The Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, which classifies forced famine as a war crime

• Multiple conventions on child rights, humanitarian access, and collective punishment

And yet, Israel and the U.S. act with total impunity.

They are not only ignoring the law — they are mocking it.

These children are not even being killed quickly.

They’re not dying in explosions.
They’re not buried under rubble.

They are dying slowly — in hunger, pain, confusion, and silence.

Their skin is shrinking.
