Here is the truth no one on television will say: Donald Trump just found $20,000,000,000 to bail out Javier Milei in Argentina — a far-right libertarian who has been a complete disaster — while slashing dozens of programs that ordinary Americans rely on and calling it “responsibility.” That’s not responsibility. It’s a racket. It’s austerity for you and a blank check for his friends.

Trump’s own Treasury is preparing a $20B package — a dollar swap line, bond purchases, and standby credit — timed to help Milei before Argentina’s congressional elections. They’re branding it “stability.” Translate it: your tax dollars rescuing an extremist foreign politician so he can win an election.

Back home, he’s cutting the floor out from under people. His proposed budget eliminates or guts 46 U.S. programs— “savings” so small they barely move the federal ledger, but life-changing for millions. Then he turns around and spends five times the entire national heating assistance budget to save a politician in Buenos Aires.

Let me show you exactly what he says we “can’t afford” — in the richest nation on earth:

• LIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance): $4.1B to help families keep heat and lights on — zeroed outwhile he wires $20B abroad.

• Job Corps: $1.7B to help struggling young people train and work — eliminated.

• AmeriCorps: $976M for disaster relief and community service — eliminated.

• Administration for Community Living: $2.4B supporting older and disabled Americans living independently — slashed.

• Legal Services Corporation: $560M funding civil legal aid for poor families — eliminated.

• Community Service Employment for Older Americans: $405M — cut.

• Minority Business Development Agency: $68M — cut.

• Corporation for Public Broadcasting (local PBS/NPR): $595M — cut.

• NEA & NEH: $414M combined — cut.

• U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness: $4M — cut.

These aren’t “waste.” They are lifelines. He says we’re too broke for heat, too broke for seniors, too broke for legal aid — and then signs a $20,000,000,000 rescue for a foreign ideologue. That’s Americans Last.

And it gets worse. In one of the most productive eras in history for cancer research, Trump is shutting it down. Canceling grants. Firing teams. Capping reimbursements. He can keep legal aid open so veterans and tenants aren’t steamrolled. He chooses not to.

This is the scam: preach “America First,” then gut America at home while funneling billions abroad to flatterers and investors. Say “we’re broke,” then spend like a king — just not on you.
