Democratic voters, by and large, are not issues voters. They vote on how candidates make them feel. Most voters do. My fear here is that voters like how this man makes them feel, while ignoring his actual core beliefs.

Two reasons occur to me: 1) There are other factors that many US people regard as more salient to their everyday lives -- various domestic issues -- that he is at least "better" on (not great, often), compared to global issues. 2) The power of AIPAC and its ability to kill campaigns? Just trying to figure out strategy for those of us who work on it.
