I pledge to keep this platform free for the world on purpose — for readers in Gaza, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, and so many other places where paying for journalism is impossible. I have young students who read these pieces daily to learn the law and the truth in plain English. I will not put a price tag between them and the facts. When our most generous readers chip in, we can keep it free for everyone who can’t.
