I am starting to believe that there is a battle between good and evil going on. Worldwide. This photograph is an example of that. I am feeling that evil is winning at the present moment. So many wars. Humankind is devolving.
I agree Christine. As much as we can try to be proud that we have built this massive awareness of the evil going on in the world, we aren't stopping it. It's getting worse and worse by the day.
I agree yet I often wonder something, which cannot and must not be placed at the feet or upon the heads of the innocent, this atrocity (and yes there are others worldwide) how much, singularly and together did compliance (or allowing the cohesion of the dumbing-down of a formerly greater society) have to do this? Was it the double-speak, the prominent distractions (lies, tariff battles, cost-of-living, sport winnings, social media self-serving slants, profits from ill-begotten methods, corporate owned news media, the real threats of fresh water losses via data centers, politically induced poverty, and more), or from attitudes of “Well, it’s not my country, my family” and “It’s not my war.” and “Aren’t we supposed to love Israel?” or from the divisional and cancerous hatred and fear accepted without enough questioning of an actual “Why?” giving permission for so many to live (if only by acceptance by those watching) the actual “when good men do nothing.” in real time? None of these are acceptable excuses and if they are to be accepted as reasons then there is some hope for change - reasoning takes thought, consideration, acceptance of accountability and permission to change such as recognizing the reason was not as helpful or positive as once thought. There is no shame, there is possibility in getting it right. There is recognition which by action in all intents and purposes can lead to a far greater peaceful Earth where love for one’s fellow human beings is what has the highest reign, the best score, the greater soul connections.
If anything is going to damn this world it will be because all the above prevailed and unjustifiable excuses were ongoing and accepted. What is left? We leave all the beauty of Divine creation to be an amazing blessing to all of life in a world without humans. Hmmm …
