🕰️ 60 Minutes Left. 1,364 orphans sponsored. Don't scroll past this. Let's win this and help these babies!
1 HOUR LEFT: The final count is in our hands. Preheader: We are at 1,361 orphans. We need one last surge to win the $15,000 bonus for these kids.
Family,
We’re here.
It’s the last hour of this 24-hour sprint for the orphans of Gaza.
As I write this, 1,364 orphaned children in Gaza are now sponsored through our campaign with Human Concern International.
1,361.
Alhamdulillah. That number makes me want to cry, honestly.
But I know deep in my heart that we can cross 1,400 before midnight.
That’s 36 more orphaned children that we can pull into a circle of long-term support in these final minutes.
If you’re reading this and you haven’t moved yet, I am asking you as your friend and brother:
👉🏽 Click here to sponsor an orphaned child in Gaza before this hour is over.
What your “yes” means in this last hour
This isn’t about a one-time donation. This isn’t “send $10, feel better, and move on.”
When you sponsor an orphan through this campaign, you’re committing to:
$99/month, and
A 5-year promise, from now until 2029
That money goes into a structured program in Gaza that provides orphaned children with:
Food
Shelter
Healthcare
Schooling
The basics of surviving and growing up in the deadliest place on earth for kids right now
Gaza has at least 20,000 newly orphaned children that we know of. Every single sponsorship is one child being told:
“The world did not forget you. Someone is standing with you.”
If you can do that for one child in this last hour, please don’t wait another minute:
If Allah has blessed you with the ability to do more, sponsor two, three, five. Tonight is a night for generosity that actually lands somewhere specific.
Why “before midnight” actually matters
Beyond the obvious need, there is a very concrete reason I keep talking about midnight.
LaunchGood structured today as a challenge:
In this 24-hour window, the charity that sponsors the most orphans receives an extra $15,000 for their project.
That prize ends at midnight.
The orphans will still exist tomorrow. The need will still exist. The campaign will still be there.
But the chance to pull in an extra $15,000 for these kids by pushing hard together ends tonight.
So every sponsorship right now does two things at the same time:
It commits to one child’s next five years.
It pushes us closer to that extra $15,000 for all of them.
If you’ve been waiting for a sign, this is it.
👉🏽 Click here to sponsor an orphan before the prize window closes.
For Muslims and non-Muslims: this is your lane
For my Muslim sisters and brothers:
This campaign is Zakat-eligible.
If you still have Zakat or sadaqah you’ve been holding, this is one of the most direct and urgent ways you can use it: to stand with a child who has lost their parents in Gaza.
Our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was an orphan. Our deen ties us tightly to the care of orphaned children, with promises of reward in this life and in Jannah.
For my non-Muslim family:
You don’t have to share our faith to share our outrage or our compassion.
Your sponsorship is tax-deductible in both the United States and Canada.
This is about something we all understand: children who have been brutalized by forces far beyond their control, and the rest of us deciding whether we’re going to do something real for them or not.
Whoever you are, wherever you’re reading this from, if your heart is stirred for these kids, this is your moment to act on it.

If trust has been your barrier, please hear this
I know some of you have watched from the sidelines today because you’re not sure who to trust anymore. I get that.
Let me say this one more time, as clearly as I can:
100% of what you give goes directly to Human Concern International (HCI) for this orphan program.
None of it passes through me. None of it goes into my accounts.
I have helped route nearly $4 million in direct aid for Gaza through HCI.
HCI is one of the oldest Muslim charities in North America, properly registered and regulated.
Its Executive Director, Mahmuda, is a devout, brilliant Muslim woman I know personally and trust with my life.
I now serve as an Ambassador for HCI. That means:
I use my voice and platform to support this work.
I do not receive a percentage of funds raised.
I do not have access to the bank accounts for this fundraiser.
If I didn’t believe in this, I would not be asking you in the last hour of a long, exhausting day to take a leap with me.
👉🏽 Sponsor an orphan in Gaza now if you’ve been on the fence.
For those who helped us reach 1,361
If you are part of that 1,361, I am so grateful for you I don’t even have the right words.
You’ve already changed the story for at least one child. That matters. It will always matter.
In this last hour, if you can do one more thing, here’s what I’m asking:
If you’re able, sponsor one more orphan. That alone could push us over the 1,400 mark.
If you can’t give more, think of three people you know who would care if they understood this — and send them this link with a short note in your own words.
Tell them:
“If you want to do one concrete thing for Gaza right now, this is what I chose to do: sponsor an orphan through this link.”
Here’s the link you can share:
👉🏽 Support orphans in Gaza with HCI and Shaun.
We’re at 1,364 sponsored children.
I truly believe we can see 1,400 before this hour is over.
However this night ends, I’m grateful for you. For your heart. For your prayers. For your generosity. For simply caring enough to read all the way to the end.
Love and appreciate each of you.
Your friend and brother,
Shaun
